Copycat Bob Evans Country Biscuit Breakfast Meal

Breakfast is hands down my favorite meal of the day. I could eat breakfast 24/7, it's that good. There's so many choices and they all leave me satisfied! My favorite part about vacation was my family stopping at Bob Evans in Morgantown, West Virginia on our way to Daytona Beach for breakfast. The one morning I ordered their Country Biscuit breakfast meal that had their famous country biscuits, crumbled Bob Evan sausage, scrambled eggs, sausage gravy, cheddar cheese, and home fries. This meal changed my life. Seriously, it was so good we ended up ordering another one to go! My mom took one look at the meal and said "I could make this at home for us" and she did. This breakfast meal became a staple in our home and it still is today. Scroll down for the ingredients and directions on how to make this mouth-watering meal.

Ingredients:

- 1 roll of Bob Evans Sausage

- 1 tube of Pillsbury Buttermilk Biscuits

- 1 packet of McCormick's Country Sausage Gravy packet

- 2 large eggs

- 2 cups of cold milk

- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 Degrees and line biscuits on ungreased baking sheet.

  2. Put biscuits in oven for 14-16 minutes or until golden brown on top. (Be careful to not burn the bottoms!)

  3. Unwrap sausage roll and put it in a large skillet. Cook the sausage over medium-high heat and crumble with a wooden spoon.

  4. Cook sausage the whole way through then set on low.

  5. In a small saucepan, mix sausage gravy and milk over medium-low heat for two minutes. Let it sit for 5 minutes stirring occasionally. The gravy should begin to thicken.

  6. In a small skillet, scramble eggs to your liking.

  7. Layering the meal: biscuits (cut in half), sausage gravy, sausage, eggs, shredded cheddar cheese

  8. Serve and enjoy :)
